A2UI Atomic Catalog — SDKs & Client Libraries
Developer & Agent Documentation
Official client libraries, SDK packages, CLI tools, and agent integrations for the A2UI Atomic Catalog.
1. Node.js & CLI SDK (@a2uicatalog/mcp)
The official npm package provides a standalone CLI renderer, a local MCP server for desktop editors, and build automation:
# Render atom payload to HTML directly
npx -p @a2uicatalog/mcp a2ui render page.json
# Launch local MCP server for Claude Desktop or Cursor
npx @a2uicatalog/mcp
Package registry entry: @a2uicatalog/mcp on npm.
2. Agent Skills Integration
Installable agent skills for Claude, Cursor, and Agent Skills-compatible clients:
npx skills add a2uicatalog/a2ui
Includes skills for catalog discovery (a2ui-catalog), composition (a2ui-compose), and MCP server connection (a2ui-mcp).
3. Python SDK (a2uicatalog)
A thin, dependency-free Python client for the REST API: compose, render, batch render, catalogue search and local payload validation.
pip install a2uicatalog
Package page: a2uicatalog on PyPI. Source: sdk/python/ in the GitHub repository.
4. Python & A2A SDK Integration
For Python applications using Google's A2A protocol (a2a-sdk), connect over JSON-RPC or use the typed extension wrappers in the open-source repository (renderers/a2a_extension.py).
5. Generating Typed SDKs from OpenAPI
Generate native client SDKs for any language (TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, Swift) using OpenAPI Generator and our OpenAPI 3.1 specification:
npx @openapitools/openapi-generator-cli generate \
-i https://a2uicatalog.ai/openapi.json \
-g typescript-fetch \
-o ./src/a2ui-client
